It is disappointing that none of the teams from Zone 8 made it through to the Quarter Finals of the World Bridge Teams Championships, but nevertheless they still represented their countries and the Zone well and we are very proud of them. A number of players from South Africa are participating now in the World Transnational Open Teams Championship and we wish them well.
